Council Chair’s update
Greetings!
As many of you already know, our dear Laura Scappaticci has moved on from the Leadership Team of the Society to pursue other professional adventures. She leaves a robust legacy of programs and innovations that have pulled the Society into the modern world in new ways. We, on the Council, are very grateful for her boundless energy and passion for Anthroposophy and wish her all the best in her new endeavors.
While Laura leaves big shoes to fill, it also provides us, Council members, an opportunity to review our strategic goals and reflect on what we need going forward to continue to strengthen what Laura has so ably created. At present, we will carry on with all existing programs that have been scheduled while we take some time over the summer to regroup and look at all the functions in the Society that need tending. Luckily , we have the very skilled Tess Parker tending to what Laura initiated. Meanwhile, we have an AdHoc committee working with the Leadership Team to refine the position and see where there are gaps in the day-to-day running of the organization. We will keep you posted when we conclude our work and are ready to hire a new Director of Programs!

You’re the best, Laura! All the best for the best! 🙂
Warmly, Doug
All ready missing LAURA’S energy she puts into all the anthroposophical offerings. I wish her the very best in all she does in the future and hope we still see her as a member.
