In this ongoing sculpting class, we will begin a new series and welcome new participants. We will learn how to make a human figure in clay, with which we will explore the gestures of Michelangelo’s four allegorical Medici Tomb Figures: Day, Night, Dawn, and Dusk. Rudolf Steiner described these Tomb figures in an intriguing way in several lectures.
We will meet in my basement studio in the Christian Community Church, 10030 Fair Oaks Blvd, stairs off lower parking lot.
Beginning April 14, the length of the series is projected to be 5 or 6 sessions.
Thursdays, 3 pm to 5 pm PDT.
Cost: Each session $20. No experience necessary.
