Exploring Our Connections with Colleagues and the Natural World
With Rachel Turner and Katherine Scharff of West Coast Institute for Studies in Anthroposophy

Early childhood educators have unique opportunities to influence the young child’s relationship to the healing forces in nature. By modelling healthy social practices, we also have the chance to create environments where human relationships can flourish. Please join Rachel and Katherine, both outdoor education specialists, to glean some ideas about working with children in outdoor settings. Katherine also will be speaking about the role of assistants and lead teachers in the caregiving setting. We can transform our human relationships and provide the children with these living examples. Let’s explore together how the early childhood classroom can be a place of healing.
