Rod Exercises and Geometric Forms
Tuesdays, Oct 18 – Nov 15, 8:15-9:15 am PST

In developing a Personal Eurythmy Practice, we learn movements that bring harmony to body, soul and spirit. These help us become authentically grounded and peaceful, whereby we access the true forces of health These in turn are essential qualities to strengthen our forces of resilience.

In this five-week series, we will explore the worlds of time and space with rod exercises and geometrical forms. From the earliest days of eurythmy, copper rod exercises have been used to create a series of light-hearted but exacting series of exercises that help with agility, spatial orientation, and precision, engaging the entire body.

We will also practice walking in straight lines and curves, stars and circles, to develop a finer sense for how we move in space.
