PAAM Annual Training Week for Physicians and Pharmacists
This course, led by well-experienced and inspirational faculty, will open up whole new perspectives for you!
This is the chance for newcomers and more-experienced practitioners to gain insights into “threefold” patterns of anatomy, physiology, and diagnosis and to see how these patterns interweave between body and spirit. This week-long intensive will teach about the very differentiated physiology of our nervous system versus our digestion and metabolism, and how this relates to both modern integrative approaches to chronic illness and ancient alchemical wisdom. Anthroposophic pharmacy demonstrations will show you these principles in ways you will never forget! Clinical workshops provide practical tools for offering your patients individualized treatment for conditions like hypertension, headache, IBS, eczema and sleep disorders.
*Scholarships are available! A limited number of full-tuition scholarships are available to currently-enrolled MD & DO students and full-time residents through PAAM’s Ita Wegman Fund. Scholarships also cover a portion of room and board for the week. Work study is entailed. To apply, please email us a letter of application telling us more about your interest in Anthroposophic Medicine and where you are in your studies. We need to hear from you before Feb 26th; after Feb 26th, scholarship opportunities will be opened to ND, NP and PA students.
If you are a Fellow in an Integrative Medicine program, you are eligible to apply for a Steward Scholarship, which covers full tuition, room and board, as well as $500 toward travel expenses.
