“Bringing Biography and Social Art into Waldorf Schools”
with the Center for Biography & Social Art’s Jennifer Brooks Quinn and Kathleen Bowen

This two-hour workshop, open to all Biography Facilitators, is an overview of the fruits from five years of bringing the Awakening Connections; Creating Community (link) program to Waldorf School Communities in North America. Participants will experience exercises created to strengthen the school’s imagination for creating community. We will introduce you to the three sessions we brought to schools and an overview of the outcomes.

*If a deeper interest arises, more in depth training sessions will be offered.

Reflections from school participants:
“Whenever you take a group of individuals and peel back layers you reveal a strength and wisdom that may otherwise never be witnessed.”

“This work reveals us as human beings with a story and a certain vulnerability.”

“This work makes us stronger as a community and it enriches us as individuals and this creates social change because when we truly “see” our colleagues we feel a responsibility for how we interact with them. Perhaps this is how we grow to love and respect one another. When we do this work it ripples out to the children in our school and their families and this is invaluable.”
