We warmly invite you to Whitsun 2024: 100 Years of Sacred Agriculture on May 20 at 7 pm Eastern/4 pm Pacific.

June 8, 1924, was Rudolf Steiner’s last Whitsun celebration during his life, and in this moment he chose to share a series of lectures known as “The Agriculture Course” to an audience of farmers in Koberwitz, in current day Poland, marking the inception of biodynamic agriculture.

We are pleased to share that Eduardo Rincón, the new Agriculture Section co-leader at the Goetheanum beginning in August of this year, will join us via Zoom on Monday, May 20, to share his thoughts and research on the significance of the 100 year anniversary of the Agriculture Course and its relation to Whitsun. As farmer and artist with a deep sense of the festival in relation to community life, Eduardo will also talk about the sacred task of being a true steward of the earth.

We will also hear original music from singer-songwriter Jen Zimberg and from Love Bravely, a cross-genre music project founded by rapper/singer-songwriter Matre.

Matre, in collaboration with a wide network of musicians, artists and creatives, explores the transformative power of art and its role in supporting inner development and social transformation. He will share original songs that speak to our theme. Jen will share from her body of work inspired by the journey and life story of Joan of Arc, highlighting the archetypal significance of the saint’s life. This session will be recorded and shared with participants within 24 hours.
