Back after a four-year hiatus and redesigned for today’s educational landscape, the three-week-long “WWLTE” certificate program is designed for current and aspiring Waldorf world language teachers. Through this summer’s three week, on-campus session (followed by a one-week observation of an experienced world language teacher in the next school year), Sunbridge World Languages students will gain an informed understanding of Waldorf curriculum and an anthroposophical view of child development, enabling them to be more fully integrated members of their school community and to meet their students through the lens of a Waldorf educator.

And leading this summer’s program is the new WWLTE coordinator!

Native Spanish speaker, Waldorf educator, and highly experienced world languages teacher Cristina Filicky has already met several prospective students at our online admissions events. She shares with us that she is “overjoyed to join Sunbridge Institute as the new coordinator of the World Languages & Cultures program. I am eager to share my love, expertise, and deep commitment of teaching world languages with Sunbridge program students.”
