ONLINE LECTURE BY CHRISTOPHER HOUGHTON BUDD, ORGANIZED BY CHICAGO RUDOLF STEINER BRANCH

In 1923, humanity had its first chance to embark on a new social life characterized by a single world economy nested in the peoples of the world. Now, one hundred years later, we have a second chance to realize this. But will we take it? For there will not be a third. In the world at large, this presents as the possibility of a shared global economy based on each country having its “own light” respected by all others, the practical aspect of a free spiritual life. In the anthroposophical movement, the same thing appears as country societies, each with a general secretary, being representative of humanity’s folk souls, and these societies being groups of the worldwide society. Is it too late to remind ourselves of and step into this moment?

The event is organized by program committee of Chicago Rudolf Steiner Branch.
