Restorative Practices: Connecting to the Wellsprings of Wellbeing for Waldorf Teacher
Bay Area Center for Waldorf Teacher Training (BACWTT) will be hosting the Northern California Waldorf Teachers Conference, Restorative Practices: Connecting to the Wellsprings of Wellbeing for Waldorf Teachers on February 22-24.
Keynote Speaker, Elan Leibner
Waldorf teachers experience themselves amid a host of conflicting forces, pulling them in many directions as they educate the young. In addition to teaching, they must manage the demands of school life and the wishes of parents. Moving forward past the challenges and strains of the pandemic, teachers continue to wrestle with undigested stress, anxiety, and exhaustion. Burnout is high and more teachers are retiring early and changing professions. Now is the time to rediscover and deepen our connection to the essential restorative and guiding practices that will refresh and anchor us in the heart of our work as Waldorf teachers.
