A talk on Palm Sunday by Dhruva Corrigan, current Speech School student and former (or not so former!) Christian Community seminary student.

Dhruva wrote the following to introduce his talk:

The mystery of Christ’s suffering and death is a necessary and indispensable precursor to the reality of the Easter resurrection. The more earnestly we can enter into the inner and outer realities of the deeds of Christ Jesus, which precede Easter morning, the more readily can the resurrection be experienced and accomplished anew within our own souls. The more truly we can recognize in the events of Holy Week the greatest pictures of human-divine love, the more actively we can become vessels by which this love may continue to stream into the world. On Palm Sunday, we will explore the relationships between suffering, love, death, and resurrection in the Christian mysteries, preparing us for an ever deepening experience of this special moment in the cycle of our individual and communal spiritual life.
