More than ever, the Light Eurythmy Ensemble is seeking the connection between nature and human beings, to find what lies behind, above, within, and underneath the surface of matter; they wait like a rose in the desert and need courage to face the needs of our time.

In the tale of the fisherman and his wife, the enchanted fish grants the wishes of the soul, without reservation — how wonderful that we can grow, but only if we stay within the boundaries of self-knowledge. And in the story of Turnip for the little ones: the common task can only succeed when the smallest, most inconspicuous member of the community joins in the effort.

The Light Eurythmy Ensemble is looking forward to come to Kimberton, PA, Chestnut Ridge, NY, the House of Peace, Ipswich, and Copake, NY, this October to share in movement: music and poetry, stories, colors, and light.

They are a professional group from Dornach/Arlesheim, Switzerland. The core members of the group were active for decades as stage eurythmists, and for 20 years, the Light Eurythmy Ensemble has been traveling to countless countries around the globe with various programs in German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, and Russian. In addition to five to eight eurythmists, the group consists of a musician, a speaker, and a lighter.

At the moment, they are enjoying steeping themselves in the English language, and are looking forward to the “Indian summer” across the Atlantic, and sharing an eurythmy experience with the audience.
