THE THEME IS KASPAR HAUSER AND THE APOCALYPSE
Together with the Kaspar Hauser Research Circle and the Karl Koenig Institute, the four Camphill communities in Columbia County are hosting a third Kaspar Hauser Festival-Conference in North America.
As with the 2017 and 2019 festivals, Eckart Böhmer and Richard Steel from the Kaspar Hauser Research Circle in Europe will join us. The gathering will offer content, social engagement, and artistic activity.
The theme “Kaspar Hauser and the Apocalypse” is closely related to the questions and trials of our time! Referencing the Revelation of John in the New Testament, the gathering will look strongly to the future in the sense of John’s visionary revelations, which will be an inspiration for our work.
Another focus of our work will be considering how Kaspar Hauser and Rudolf Steiner can influence the development of the future – and importantly, what would be needed from us. The destiny and true task of North America are significant here, as well.
We are committed to hosting this Festival, knowing that it matters that we can work together in this way. Therefore, if a large gathering in April 2022 isn’t possible due to current Covid restrictions – the Festival will go on – perhaps with smaller gatherings combined with active online participation.
We are looking forward to this event with real anticipation! And we hope you can join us!
