Through the Death-Forces in Our Culture to the Rebirth of the Spirit!
Written by and Performed as a Spoken Word Performance by Richard Ramsbotham with Music by Godlind Gädeke
This new performance piece was specifically written for the recent medical conference in Kimberton, PA. While they are still visiting here from England, Richard and Godlind have offered to share it with us.
Based on Johanna von Keyserlingk’s outer and inner journey to Constantinople in 1926 in search of healing for the sickness prevailing in our culture. (Described in her book in German The Journey to Byzantium and the Search for the Palladium.)
Richard Ramsbotham, a speech artist, director, and writer from Stroud, UK, will be joined by Godlind Gädeke, Waldorf teacher and musician. Godlind works with the healing instruments of Manfred Bleffert, made from different metals, and forged through a unique artistic forging process. (Other instruments will also be played as some of Manfred Bleffert’s instruments are too heavy to transport from Europe to the U.S.)
