From the Crib to the Altar of the Heart: The Birth of Christ at Christmas and Every Day Thereafter

AN ONLINE PRESENTATION BY REV. CRAIG WIGGINS

Craig Wiggins was born in 1953 and raised in Joplin, Missouri. After receiving BA and “half a masters” in German from the University of Missouri, he joined the Holy Order of MANS in Chicago in 1975. Through the Order, he was stationed in Cologne/Germany and Amsterdam/Holland. After the Order folded, the step to The Christian Community and anthroposophy was not too difficult. Three of his four children were already attending the Waldorf School. Currently Waldorf granddad.

Studies at the priest seminary and two internships in the Amsterdam congregation and in Anthroposophical Psychiatry led to ordination in 1992. Craig served in several Dutch cities, organized some twenty-five youth camps and several youth conferences before being asked to move to the US in 2009. He has worked in the Devon and the San Francisco congregations, and since February 2019 in Chicago and the Midwest. Since April 4, 2019, he has served as Lenker (Executive Director) of the North American Region of The Christian Community.

In the Spring of 2024, Craig moved to the Netherlands and accepted a sending to the congregation “Het Gooi”, just to the southeast of Amsterdam.
