From Bethlehem to Golgotha: Birthing Christ at Epiphany.

At our physical birth we descend into our material body and take hold of it
to work out our earthly destiny. The physical birth of Jesus of Nazareth, as
described so differently by the Gospels of Matthew and Luke, provided a
starting point for his earthly destiny. At the Baptism in the Jordan, Christ
became part of the destiny of Jesus, through the Passion and Resurrection,
Ascension and Pentecost. The Earth and the Cosmos began to develop a
new relationship with each other. The regenerative work of Spirit in matter
took a new, deep breath.

How can we experience and strengthen this work in our own lives? The
New Testament and its illumination by Anthroposophy form the backdrop
for this contemplation.

Events are organized by program committee of Chicago Rudolf Steiner Branch.
