WITH ARTIST MARTINA ANGELA MULLER
Thursday afternoons from April 27th to June 8th 2023, 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm
at a private painting studio in Harlemville and outside in nature
Contemplating and immersing ourselves into the living forces of nature, stimulates life forces within us and aids safe passage for nature into the future as well. We will paint blossoms, tree gestures, and the softly awakening spring landscape. Working with ink, watercolor, pencils, and pastel to observe nature is a way of honoring place and blessing nature with our undivided, deeply interested attention, trying to get a step closer to the core essence of its being. At the beginning of each session, we will take in the general gesture, appearance, and mood of each plant or landscape, and work our way from the general to the specific, mindful of its atmosphere and being. All skill levels are welcome and step by step instructions will help to develop and expand observational and drawing/painting skills.
Sliding scale fee: $150.00 – 370.00 for the course; all materials will be provided. Please feel free to bring your favorite art supplies if you wish.
