An Introductory Course for Waldorf Early Childhood Assistant Teachers with Holly Koteen-Soule, Leslie Woolverton, and Somer Serpe

This course is designed to familiarize and support teachers at the beginning of their Waldorf Early Childhood journey. In the three-day live online class, participants will be introduced to the important principles of Waldorf early childhood development. Participants will also explore the essential qualities of the early childhood environment, their role in creating a circle of love and warmth for the young child, and ways to nurture adult collaboration. The two follow-up live online classes will support teachers after they have entered the classroom in the fall.

The optional Part II in-person class–open to those who participate in the online introductory course–will deepen the online learning through movement, speech and artistic activities in an interactive Waldorf early childhood teacher training environment.
