Colors and Gestures of the Plant World

IN-PERSON WITH LAURA SUMMER

We will work with gestures and colors in the world of plants, using watercolor, charcoal, stencils, collage, and cold wax. In the mornings, we will draw and paint from observation. In the afternoons, we will use that work to inspire us to make paintings in cold wax. Cold wax is a medium that is easy to use: you will get rich, nuanced colors and textures and be continually surprised by this layering techniques. All supplies are included. No experience is needed; the techniques are inspiring and forgiving.

Preference will be given to people who can participate in the entire 3 days, but id there is room, it is possible to take either just the mornings or just the afternoons.
