THE TRUE STORY OF THE DEATH OF A TEACHER:
A NEWLY REVISED PLAY IN TWO PARTS BY GLEN WILLIAMSON
Switzerland, 1923. Spiritual teacher and clairvoyant Rudolf Steiner works to waken people to the spirit. His enemies oppose him and his pupils don’t understand their task. But ancient memories and faithful friendships persist.
Over the last two years, Glen Williamson has brought a number of earlier drafts of this drama – crafted from actual events and discourse – to Chestnut Ridge. Much has happened since then, including to the play, and we are very pleased to welcome Glen back for a next step in the development of this drama.
In this staged reading, Glen is again joined by Laurie Portocarrero, and eurythmists Zachary Dolphin and Sea-Anna Vasilas.
