KARL KONIG’S DRAWINGS FOR THE CALENDAR OF THE SOUL EXHIBIT AND RICHARD STEELE’S LECTURES

The North American Tour Presented by the Karl König Institute

In 1912, Rudolf Steiner composed 52 verses to enhance the human soul’s experience of the cycles of the year. These verses were so important to him that he prepared the last edition as a final deed from his death bed. During World War II, Karl König (1902- 1966), founder of the Camphill Movement, created 52 meditative illustrations for the Calendar of the Soul while interned as an enemy alien; his aim was to bring healing light into dark times.

Kimberton Hills is honored to present an Exhibition of Karl König’s drawings from September 5-8, 2024, in Rose Hall. Richard Steel, Director of the Karl König’s Institute, will give three talks: two on the Calendar of the Soul, and one on Kaspar Hauser. He will also give guided tours of the exhibit to shed light on the themes depicted in the drawings. Please join us for this special event!
