A WEEKEND WORKSHOP WITH HENRIKE HOLDREGE AND MARISHA PLOTNIK
The March 11-13 weekend workshop aims to strengthen and enliven math teaching in middle school, exploring the teaching of algebra from various points of view. When and how do we introduce algebra to students? What is the secret of algebraic expressions and equations? What do they tell us about numbers and number relations, about geometric relations, and about relations within our physical world? There will also be an opportunity for collegial exchange.
March 11 – 13, 2022 (Friday, 6 – 8pm; Saturday, 9 am – 5 pm; Sunday, 9 am – noon)
Sliding scale fee: $100 – $250.
