AN ONLINE PRESENTATION BY DR. CATHY SIMS-O’NEIL, DO
Anthroposophy allows us to respond to the changed reality of dementia in our loved ones and patients in creative and artistic healing ways. In this webinar, we will seek to understand dementia in a wide perspective, and explore how to create a loving, reassuring presence, and offer our healing gifts of anthroposophical remedies, therapeutic eurythmy, music, and other therapies. Whether you are a medical practitioner, a family member, or therapist, this webinar is for all who are interested.
Dr. Sims-O’Neil received her anthroposophical medical training through the English Medical Seminar in Dornach in 1991, and completed therapeutic eurythmy training in 2022. Her formal conventional training includes osteopathic medical school in Maine, a neurology residency in Albany, NY, and a fellowship in autonomic nervous system disorders at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. In addition to co-founding Collaborative Medical Arts in Chatham, NY, she currently works at Camphill Copake and Camphill Ghent, in school medicine at the Buffalo Waldorf School, as well as in conventional neurology in the Albany area. She serves on the Board of ATHENA (Association for Therapeutic Eurythmy in North America).
This webinar will take place over Zoom.
The webinar will be recorded and a link will be provided to registered participants in the days following the live webinar.
