You can look at Rudolf Steiner’s life as divided into two periods: until the turn of the century during which he called himself an epistemologist, and then on into the 20th Century, when he “came out” as an initiate. However, there is something the goes through both these periods: his consistent interest in art and the theory of art. What does his epistemology and his Initiation Science have in common if not the bridge of art.
