AN ONLINE EVENT BY ANTHROPOSOPHICAL SOCIETY OF AMERICA

We are pleased to host Peter Bruckner to help us prepare for the triumphant fulfillment of spring that happens each year with Ascension and Whitsunday. Among many things, Peter is internationally active as a Waldorf teacher, lecturer, poet, painter, jeweler, and stained glass artist, and we are excited to have this opportunity to work with him.

During this season 101 years ago, in 1924, when the dates of Easter, Ascension, and Whitsunday corresponded to the same as now in 2025, Rudolf Steiner brought the Leading Thoughts #41-49, which describe the forces of destiny in human life. Our coming together for this online presentation and activity is designed to engage with these Leading Thoughts as contemplative exercise, through artistic activity, and in community.

Our 90-minute online gathering will include eurythmy, Peter’s presentation, then your choice of one of these activity-based break-out sessions (20 minutes each):

  • Biography work with Linda Bergh, Jennifer Fox, and Sandra LeGrega
  • Eurythmy with Mary Ruud
  • Making crowns with Patricia Delisa
  • Finding the story in this season’s the star picture with Mary Stewart Adams

This event is designed as a way to prepare for Ascension (May 29) and Whitsunday (June 8). Participants are encouraged to access the resources in the participant portal, where there are references for study, recordings of essential Whitsun lectures, and a list of simple materials to have at hand for the artistic activity during the online event.

Event will be recorded.
