In response to the challenge of finding trained teachers, Gradalis is in its 3rd successful year of an effort to support schools who wish to move teachers toward a better understanding of Waldorf education quickly. This online model allows teachers to attend webinars with experienced Waldorf educators to learn Waldorf approaches that can be applied immediately to their classrooms. Such topics as Classroom Management give a practical but deeper insight into what makes Waldorf Waldorf. Topics selected directly support teachers in their classrooms. This program lays a good foundation for understanding Waldorf principles and teaching approaches to enhance success in the classroom. It is not a formal Waldorf training, but supports teachers and schools in their striving to become “Schools inspired by Waldorf principles.”

The Understanding Waldorf Education 8-month Program is designed for teachers who are active in Waldorf classrooms and new to Waldorf education pre-kinder through 8th grade. It includes mentoring for subject specialists: music, games, foreign language, and handwork.

COST
$3,000 per teacher for schools with 5 or more teachers in the program. $3400 per year per teacher for schools with less than 5 teachers in the program. Years 1, 2, and 3 available starting in September 2024. All UWE programs are accredited by ACCET.
