MONTHLY EURYTHMY WORKSHOP IN NYC WITH LINDA LARSON
Join Linda Larson for September eurythmy workshop “Toward Michaelmas” on September 18, 2023, at 7:00 pm. We will welcome Michaelmas, accompanying each other in eurythmy for the transition from the outer sun of summer toward the inwardness of winter. We will focus on a special Michaelmas verse, recognizing Michaelmas as part of the cosmic breathing process of the year. Courage of soul, strength of will, wisdom in the light received within, are some key qualities to strive for in this time, along with an inner deepening of warmth of heart, a quality often referred to by Rudolf Steiner.
Everyone is welcome, no previous eurythmy experence is necessary. Please bring soft-soled shoes.
Linda Larson, Eurythmist, has taught in Waldorf schools, Camphill communities, adult education courses, eurythmy in the workplace, in the U.S. and in Europe. She also practices therapeutic eurythmy. She received her eurythmy diplomas from the Van der Pals Eurythmy Academy, Dornach, Switzerland, the London School of Therapeutic Eurythmy, London, England, and earlier earned an M.F.A. from Cranbrook Academy of Art, Detroit, Michigan. She is a member of the Eurythmy Association of North America (EANA) and the Association of Therapeutic Eurythmy of North America (ATHENA). Her website: larsoneurythmy.com
“The call for a Michael Festival is the call for the spiritual light of day . . . to point the way that the human being can be converted from an earth citizen to a citizen of the cosmos.” ~ Rudolf Steiner
