LAUNCHING THE LOCAL RETAIL SHOP IN SPENCERTOWN, NY

SteinerBooks, a publisher of long standing with administrative and editorial offices situated locally since 1985, will be opening a retail space at 834 State Route 203 in Spencertown, New York, in Spring 2023. The bookshop will feature a large selection of the titles published by SteinerBooks and its various imprints and distribution partners.

Established as the non-profit corporation Anthroposophic Press in New York City in 1928, “The Press,” as its sometimes still referred to, is also home to Lindisfarne Books, Bell Pond Books, Portal Books, Mercury Press, and Adonis Books, in addition to serving as the US distributor for UK publishers Floris Books, Wynstones Press, Hawthorn Press, Rudolf Steiner Press, Temple Lodge, and others.

A wide selection of wholesome children’s books, books on organic and biodynamic gardening and agriculture, educational resources for homeschoolers and other teachers, art, architecture, health and medicine, as well as all the works of Rudolf Steiner available in English, will be available for perusal and purchase.

We will have an inaugural Open House on Saturday, April 1 between 11am and 3pm. No foolin’. Stop by anytime in that window, see the space, and say “Hello”!
