Songs of Joan of Arc is an original cycle of songs by singer-songwriter Jen Zimberg. In 2024, this work is being offered in concert for schools and other communities throughout North America, Australia, and Europe.
Jen treads lightly on the earth and deeply into the life of this saint. The songs guide the audience through the inner landscape of Joan’s story, unfolding with beauty and simplicity, potent lyrics and music that move the inner life of young and old. This hour-long performance follows the journey of a young shepherdess who, led by an inner voice of guidance, walked an astounding path of destiny unencumbered by the parameters of time and place.
