PRESENTATION BY NED KAHN, ARTIST
The Thinness of the Atmosphere:
Investigations at the Confluence of Art, Science, Architecture, & Nature
Sebastopudlian Ned Kahn is an environmental artist whose work reveals natural flow patterns on the scale of architecture. His work frequently involves making invisible forces, such as wind, visible on the facades of buildings. He also works with revealing rain, fog, mist, fire, and vibration. His best-known local project is the kinetic facade on the ATT/SBC Building on 3rd Street in Santa Rosa.
