Rudolf Steiner’s Apocalyptic Seals

AN ONLINE COURSE WITH LAURA SUMMER USING DRAWING TO INVESTIGATE

In 1907, Rudolf Steiner gave Clara Rettich instructions for painting 7 seals based on imagery from the Revelation to John, the last book of the bible. By copying each of these seals in colored pencil and then using that experience to inspire your own work, we will investigate these seals. Familiarity with the Revelation to John will be helpful but not absolutely required. We will be working with a book by Adrian Anderson (pictured here), where he has complied all of Steiner’s references to these seals.
