WECAN CONFERENCE 2026: 100 Years of Waldorf Early Childhood in North America
This year’s WECAN conference will honor the history of Waldorf early childhood education in Canada, Mexico, and the United States, and reflect on where we stand today, and take up the task of shaping a future that meets today’s children with wisdom and courage.
As we close our three-year cycle under the theme Creating Spaces for the Children Coming Toward Us, we will explore New Adult Learning’s third path, Creative Spiritual Research. We will consider Rudolf Steiner’s guiding principles for teachers: to bring initiative and interest in the world and each child, truth, and a fresh, healthy mood of soul.
New, seasoned, and retired educators are warmly invited, including those active in early childhood teacher education, and all faculty and administrators working in Waldorf Schools.
