Meeting Christ as a Sun-Spirit in the Elemental Realm of Earth

In the summer of 1976, Patricia was working with ardent devotion in her small garden in Lincoln, Nebraska, when she became unexpectedly aware of the elemental world as a spiritual reality. Within the weaving matrix of Light surrounding her garden plants, she came to cognize a higher form of Being permeating this elemental radiance — the Living Presence of Christ as a Sun-Spirit. This awareness was overwhelming and came seemingly “out of the blue” — not related to any esoteric training or religious belief. It penetrated her consciousness to the depths and initiated a time of radical transformation, intense seeking, and many challenges and trials. In 1979, her journey led to the discovery of Rudolf Steiner’s teachings about Christ and the Sun Mystery of Golgotha, a time of immense soul joy and “homecoming.”

Patricia will share highlights of her initial spiritual experience and how anthroposophy continues to inform and nourish the Christ-Seed of awakening that happened in her youth.

Patricia Kaminski is the Executive Director of the Flower Essence Society, a worldwide collegium of practitioners who research and heal with the subtle essences of plants. She is also the Developmental Director of Terra Flora, a Demeter-Certified Biodynamic Garden, Nature Sanctuary, and cottage industry in Nevada City, California.
