BRIANIMATIONS PUPPETRY STORYTELLING PRESENTS A MULTI-MEDIA TALE INPSIRED BY JANUSZ KORCZAK’S BOOK
“We need King Matt now, in our world, more than ever.” – Maurice Sendak, author of WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE
What happens when a young, orphaned prince becomes a king? Based on the 1923 Polish classic, this tale is infused with the philosophies of children’s rights activist and the Holocaust hero Janusz Korczak. Through the perspective of a child king, this story takes a look at right and wrong, rich and poor, those who have power and those who don’t… even the absurdity of war and racism.
A young boy named Matt reluctantly becomes king and must deal with an adult world of laws and prejudices. He changes everything.
Brianimations Puppetry Storytelling uses tabletop puppetry, animation, and music, to bring the works of renowned author, children’s right’s advocate, and holocaust hero, Janusz Korczak, to life.
