ONLINE PRESENTATION BY EUGENE SCHWARTZ

Although it has been over a century since Michael became the Leader of our Age, the effects of the Archangel Gabriel’s previous Regency live on. As the Archangel of the winter season, Gabriel’s manifests quietly but strongly during the Holy Nights, supporting the qualities of recollection and reflection that bridge past and future, necessity and freedom. Eugene Schwartz will explore Gabriel’s role in meeting the challenges facing the unborn, and the ways in which the Waldorf school can be a bridge between the Gabrielic and Michaelic impulses in the life of the spirit.

As a Fellowship Community coworker in the 1970s, Eugene Schwartz worked with the elderly and those crossing the Threshold and helped to develop the foundations of today’s Otto Specht School. He has also served as a Waldorf class teacher for twenty-five years, and has been a frequent lecturer at both the Renewal Conferences and Rudolf Steiner College, as well as Director of Teacher Training at the Sunbridge Institute. For over forty years, Eugene has lectured worldwide on anthroposophy and Waldorf education. Having developed The Online Courses, the very first online Waldorf teacher training courses in 2010, Eugene has helped thousands of teachers prepare for their new grades and served as a mentor and school advisor. His essays, videos, and lectures may be accessed at iwaldorf.net.
