AN AFTERSCHOOL WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN

In this afterschool program, we will felt with sheep’s wool to create acorns, pumpkins, bats, and other seasonal beauties. We will learn about wool and the history of felting, develop “magic hands” and create lots of felt. We will have a healthy snack and enjoy stories, songs, and rhymes to go with our creations.

This workshop is for children 6 and up.

Classes held on Wednesdays:
September 27, October 4, 11, 18, 25, 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm
at the Philmont Community Center.

This is a collaboration with Amelia McIsaac, Free Columbia, and the Village of Philmont!

Sliding scale fee of $0-$250 per child. Checks can be made payable to “Free Columbia”.
