Embryology in the Light of Anthroposophy

THE BODY AS A TEMPLE, PART 1: AN ONLINE LECTURE SERIES ON ANTHROPOSOPHY WITH CYNTHIA HOVEN

This year’s studies in anthroposophy will begin with a consideration of “occult embryology,” an understanding of the profound interweaving of spirit and matter that has been evolved through long ages of time. The temple of our body has been created by of great spiritual beings who, through their harmonious work, have fashioned Spirit into bodies that enable us, as evolving ego-beings, to live on the earth. We will consider how we descend into incarnation from the spiritual world: physical, etheric, and astral bodies are prepared to receive our spirit core. This profound mystery reveals the recapitulation of cosmic evolution, from Ancient Saturn through to present Earth. Our studies will range from a study of the Book of Genesis to Occult Science, and how they weave together with cell biology and heredity.
