A TALK BY JON McALICE
From ancient times, humans have felt a sense of kinship with trees. Our ancestors revered them for the qualities of wisdom, steadfastness, and the renewal of life that trees embody. Trees have sheltered, warmed, nurtured, and healed us.
Today, the life of trees around the world is threatened. The changing climate, human disregard for habitat, and exploitive farming practices have led to unprecedented loss. As we now accompany our local trees into their winter sleep, we’d like to take the opportunity to attend to how they are in the world.

This talk is free and open to all. Donations warmly welcome.
