A PRESENTATION BY JOHN-SCOTT LEGG

The Berkshire-Taconic Branch of the Anthroposophical Society invites you to a special branch evening continuing its series on The Life of Rudolf Steiner…

Rudolf Steiner in the years 1880-1900 – Vienna, Weimar, Berlin

Taken as whole, the mature and ever-maturing spiritual work of Rudolf Steiner in the first quarter of the twentieth century understandably eclipses his somewhat more obscure “journeyman years” as a student, editor, writer, socializer, and earnest observer of the human world around him.

In this presentation, we’ll focus on the blossoming “sun years” (age 20 to 40) of the young man, both his interior spiritual and intellectual development and the all important outer social scenes and encounters in Vienna, Weimar, and Berlin before the turn of the century.
