WITH LISA DALTON, FRED DENNEHY, MELANIA LEVITSKY, LAURIE PORTOCARRERO, RICHARD THOMAS, AND GLEN WILLIAMSON
“All true artists, bear within themselves a deeply rooted and often unconscious desire for transformation” – Michael Chekhov
“Love the art in yourself, not yourself in the art.” – Constantin Stanislavski
In this the Consciousness Soul Age, all human beings are capable of every conceivable act of evil, as well as of doing the good—thus said Rudolf Steiner. Actors today, then, can find within themselves the range and depth to play any character—if they have the courage to search within themselves in complete truth. Does that search constitute a spiritual journey, or even a path of initiation?
Actors Lisa Dalton, Fred Dennehy, Melania Levitsky, Laurie Portocarrero, Richard Thomas and Glen Williamson will explore this theme in the context of their own work and experience as actors and as spiritual seekers. Fred Dennehy will moderate a discussion among them, as well.
