Step into the woods with The Nature Place’s director Jason Samuel—a licensed New York State guide—and discover why Harriman State Park feels like a second home to us. Alongside other families, you’ll wander, wonder, and share in the simple joy of hiking together. PLUS — you’ll have lunch with a great view!
With back-to-school season comes familiar fall rhythms and routines, and hopefully, reunions! We hope you’ll join us for upcoming fun out in nature.

Fall in Love with Nature Hike at The Pine Swamp Loop

Final for 2025 Hike at the Kakiat Loop
All hikes embark at 10 am and return no later than 2 pm.
Guided hikes are $30 per family (per hike).
For each hike, we’ll send you a packing list and what to expect. The hikes are about 4 hours, with lots of breaks and a lovely lunch stop.
