Un-Sealing the Apocalypse: The Book of Revelations for Our Time

The Book of Revelation, written by the Beloved Disciple, the one “who leaned on Jesus’s bosom” at the Last Supper and who stood faithfully at the foot of the Cross on Golgotha, is placed as the final book of the Bible. Yet this apocalyptic text, profoundly relevant to our time and for the future of humanity and the Earth, cannot be fully grasped through conventional biblical exegesis alone.

The Christian esoteric wisdom woven throughout the Book of Revelation, along with its deeply significant symbolism, remains largely inaccessible without a certain level of Christian initiation. During his lifetime, Rudolf Steiner, who was uniquely qualified for this task, offered, through his lectures and writings, the spiritual-scientific tools needed to unlock the hidden esoteric meanings and revelations within this otherwise sealed book.

Florian Sydow, drawing for many years from the deep wellspring of anthroposophy, seeks to make the inner mysteries of this apocalyptic book accessible in a way that can help participants to better understand and meet the profound challenges of our time as well as bring into view the long term goals of human evolution which includes the task of co-creating the New Jerusalem.
