Patrick Stolfo was born and raised in and around Detroit, MI, where he attended a foundation studies program at the Waldorf Institute between 1973 and 1974. After finishing his BFA, he spent four years at Emerson College in England from 1977- through 81 where he understudied in sculpture, teaching, and flow-form research with A. John Wilkes. He completed his MA in Waldorf Education, and began teaching back in Detroit shortly thereafter.
Patrick has lived and worked in the Hawthorne Valley area since 1987, teaching mainly high school and adults at HVS, and a number of other schools and Waldorf Teaching Training Institutions in art and art history, while being a father and husband, co-founding the Alkion Center, and putting his “spare time” into freelance artwork, mainly sculpture.
