AN ANTHROPOSOPHICAL LECTURE BY VALDEMAR W. SETZER, ANTHROPOSOPHICAL SOCIETY IN BRAZIL

This lecture is based upon 25 lectures given by Rudolf Steiner concerning John the Baptist. Verses of the Bible, especially the Gospels, related to John and the Christ are cited and explained, as well as on Elijah. John’s incarnations are covered, including Raphael and Novalis.

Valdemar W. Setzer is Senior Full Professor of the Dept. of Computer Science at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. He has 19 books published in Brazil, USA, Great Britain, Finland, and Germany, on technical topics of computer science, the impact of electronic media on education, philosophy, and dissemination of mathematics. He is a member of the Academy of Sciences of the State of São Paulo, of the Anthroposophical Society in Brazil since 1971, and of its School of Science of the Spirit since 1980.
