AN ONLINE PRESENTATION BY ROBYN HAUENSTEIN
While preparing to visit the Goetheanum for the first time, Robyn wondered how does one approach such a “being” that is truly like a mother/womb of what anthroposophy has helped to birth in those on the path that Rudolf Steiner made known to many. What are the initial feelings one has when one first encounters this reverent being? How is this “being” served and what does it need to continue to live? What is its true role for anthroposophists? In short, what might we perceive as the real purpose today of the Goetheanum? (This may be different for each of us, depending on how we meet this “being”.)
Robyn will share a very few, initial experiences of her visit in her short talk, live from Dornach, and will be joined by others that are part of a larger group of stewards to help nurture the needs of this very reverent being that Rudolf Steiner felt was so very important, as a “being” on the physical plane that reflects and connects us to the spiritual.
Robyn Hauenstein discovered anthroposophy while living in Germany in the 1980’s through the meeting of her future husband, Christoph. During the time while living in Germany, many anthoposophical seeds were planted that once she and Christoph moved to the US, these seeds were able to blossom and grow. Robyn is recently retired from a long career in the IT industry and in the last several years, anthroposophy has taken even more of a center role for her. She is currently a member of the FRAC board, a member of the First Class, and an individual that wants to help others understand anthroposophy in a way that is right for them.
