Who is Gerald Häfner?
Gerald Häfner is the leader of the Social Sciences Section at the Goetheanum, former member of the German and European Parliaments, and cofounder of the Green Party in Bavaria as well as of More Democracy, an international advocacy organization.

What will this program include?
The presentation from Gerald Häfner will be followed by small group conversations and a dialogue with the speaker. Guest panelists: Olivia Dreier and Seth Jordan Please join us!

What is the suggested fee?
$20 – $50 requested. Unless we are at capacity, no one will be turned away due to lack of fee. Once conference costs are covered, additional revenue will support Mr. Häfner’s work at the Social Sciences Section at the Goetheanum in Switzerland, HQ of the worldwide Anthroposophical Society.

Why is this called the Baumheier Conference?
This conference is in loving memory of Edward Baumheier who, at age 87, discovered and became a passionate advocate for threefolding. At his request, he was cremated holding a copy of Steiner’s The Social Future. His widow, Helena Hurrell, will introduce us to Edward and his legacy.
