MAKE A GENTLE ACQUAINTANCE WITH THIS LECTURE CYCLE, OFTEN DESCRIBED AS “BOOK WITH SEVEN SEALS”
One hundred years ago, in the busy days of September of 1924, before taking to his sick bed on September 29, Rudolf Steiner gave three lecture cycles: one to the priests and doctors, known as the Pastoral Medicine Course, one only for the priests on the Revelations, and the 19 lectures on Speech and Drama. In addition, he also sometimes gave morning lectures to the workers at the Goetheanum on a subject of their choosing, as well as karma lectures and lessons of the First Class of the School of Spiritual Science.
Although about 750 people attended the Speech and Drama lectures, the impulses/indications given therein have found only scant realization in our anthroposophical circles or elsewhere. Come join us to celebrate its existence and touch some of the themes presented in this vast, though largely “undiscovered land”!
