Spirit Rising: Beyond the Christmas Conference

Of all the 100th year anniversaries, the Christmas Conference stands out, but it soon became clear that it had not been a culmination so much as a beginning. With so many new initiatives, so many new themes, a mighty Easter conference, with the first performance of the Foundation Stone in eurythmy—everything seemed more alive, so filled with a spirit of rejuvenation and resurrection. We will look at the arc of activity from the Christmas Conference through the spring of 1924, and the ever-greater manifestation of the Spirit of the Goetheanum and Michael. Karl’s talk will be accompanied by six local eurythmists and a speech artist.

Karl Fredrickson taught history at the Green Meadow Waldorf High School for 35 years and now writes and speaks on history and anthroposophical themes.
