WITH CHRISTIANA WALL

The “Art of Not Taking it Personally” workshop is an energetic and engaging exploration of why it is that Rudolf Steiner says we as human beings tend to take things personally. Together, we explore the experience of this, its meaning, and also some remedies. Through the use of concepts outlined by Rudolf Steiner, and those brought in Anthroposophic Psychology, Non-violent Communication and Biography and Social Art exercises, we gain insights and bring to consciousness the gift of awareness that is hidden in “taking something personally.”

In this context, we are not asked to share something personal, although the concepts can be applied in that way. It is the phenomenon that is investigated. There will be some partner conversation and group discussion.

Christiana Wall has a Masters in Social Work in Clinical Practice. She is trained in Anthroposophic Psychology, Spacial Dynamics, Biography and Social Art, Non-violent Communication and Dynamic Facilitation. She is a Psychosynthesis Licensed Coach/Counselor and a Certified Mediator for the State of New York.

Each workshop on zoom includes small group exercises and reflections shared in the full group. We will use artistic and imaginative exercises to open up biographical experiences. And, as always, we will practice listening deeply.

Our monthly workshops are not recorded to respect the confidentiality of our participants.
