Spring Biodynamic Gathering

Josephine Porter Institute offers annual spring biodynamic workshop in Floyd, Virginia, from Friday, May 12, to Sunday, May 14, for making many of the foundational biodynamics preparations with us. These preparations primarily belong to the set of so-called compost preparations, which collectively help guide the formation of improved compost by bringing to manure what is rarely added deliberately, that is, carefully composted medicinal herbs.

This workshop is operating at cost to supply attendees with nourishing food from organic and biodynamic farms while informing their minds and transforming their imaginations.

While the biodynamic preparations certainly perform significant work out in the field, another profound change occurs in the practice of assembling the preparations: you yourself are changed.
